Crown International High School (CIHS) opened its doors in 1989 under the Aegis of Crown Educational Academy (CEA), India, with a unique vision to provide its students with a globally-focused bilingual education, rich in the study of music and the arts. Today, this pioneering spirit continues.

CIHS was awarded as the “Best Model School” by the Government of Andhra Pradesh in the 1994, under the APPEP project for adopting innovating teaching methodology. The success of consistent results of students achieving more than 95% grade each year motivated us to establish a branch of CIHS located at Qazipura, Hyderabad.

CIHS (Qazipura) was established in the year 1998 as the foundation school for the future Civil servants (IAS & IPS), technocrats, doctors and many more. It was conceived to fulfill the need for selected talented students to face fierce competition ahead.

CIHS is a vibrant school with a warm and inclusive community. Our campus is located near the heart of the city. We are an independent, secular, Preschool to Year 10 co-educational school, recognized by the government of Telangana state. In the Early Learning and Primary years, our students are immersed in a flagship bilingual program. They then go on to study at least one language in Years 7 to 10 and a choice of languages for the Higher School Certificate.

At CIHS, we offer a broad liberal education. We believe that the teacher’s role is to honor and nurture childhood while drawing out the innate gifts of the child. We take our students on an educational journey that empowers them to explore their gifts, find their voices and become their best selves as they move with growing confidence and independence towards adulthood.
